Correctional Facilities

The corrections industry is a growing sector of today’s building environment. This industry continues to grow year in and year out with annual spending in the billions. In 1991 Streets, LLC. completed their first correctional facility. This was followed by tremendous growth across the nation. Streets, currently licensed in 6 states, provides total mechanical for private, state and federal correctional facilities.

The Federal Medical Center in Butner, North Carolina, combines two of the most complex types of construction, correctional and hospital. Through 2007, Streets has completed over $100 million in prison construction and has provided in excess of 30,000 beds of correctional space. The level of detail in prison construction is intense, yet Streets continues to excel in the design and construction of quality, secure and comfortable inmate confinement.
